Cruisin' in the Tomcar

Yeah... I think that no explaination is needed here!

Puppies

Auntie and Uncle have two new puppies. C was instantly in love with them. He tried to run around with them but they were just too little and too cold to play for long. Seeing him run around with them makes me want to get a puppy for him. Allergies...Bah! all that matters is my children's happiness...yeah right! Good thing G and G are going to get a puppy to keep the kitties company. We'll never be able to get the kids to come home from their house.

Skating at Bill's

This was A's first time on skates. She could barely stand up on them. Auntie D had to help her stay on her feet (thanks auntie) C did not have skates as his feet were too big for his bob skates. We could not find another pair of skates for A so C could wear her skates. They both sure had a good time playing on the ice and around the little fire that uncle B built. We even found a pink hockey stick for A. So appropriate for her. Doesn't get much more Canadian than that.

What a Haul!

Santa definately knew what we wanted this year. Everyone was spoiled including me...I got this laptop that I am writing this post on. What a surprise. B. never fails to amaze me. He always gets my presents exactly right. I don't know how he does it.

Where's the pants?

We had to start potty training early cause the boy would just not keep his pants on. We'll have to buy a steam cleaner though from all the accidents. But at least we will be done with diapers soon!

New Christmas Jammies

C and A sporting their new Christmas Jammies from mom and dad. C would not take off his new "keem" (lightening mcqueen) jammies and I think that A wore hers for 2 whole days. Nice to know you got it right when you get your monsters a gift.

Spoiled...Yes indeed!

This is a photo of A and C riding on their new monster sized quad. B surprised all of us this year. A has already had a wild time driving her quad around grandma's driveway. Laughing her head off and telling her dad to go faster...faster...! My little speed demon. C liked the baby quad he got from other Gramma that he can cruise around the house. Oh the trouble we will be in when they get bigger. I see many broken limbs in my future.

No trip to Turkey

B came home last night from shopping for the last of his Christmas gifts and we got to talking and it looks like I won't be going to Turkey. No seriously... he actually looked into sending me all the way across the world to go visit my friend. What a guy. I miss you K. Guess we'll have to figure something else out. Maybe we will meet in England when my bro' finally decides to get married. He and his girlfriend are going to be married there cause that is where her family is from. Apparently there is a castle over in her family's town that she wants to be married in... Imagine that, a castle in England!

Boys!

My son...sitting on his change table in a bookholder, this change table is on top of his dresser and I should mention that I did not put him up there. I really would like to figure out how my kids figure these things out!

Angel in the tub

Angel likes to hang out in the bathroom every time we bath the kids. Obviously she is not really a cat. Or maybe she didn't get the memo that says she is not supposed to like water.

At least someone enjoys winter

A and her daddy cruisin' on the snowmobile. They had sooo much fun. All C wanted to do was drive the quad tho'. Too bad it was -30 that day, I am sure we all would have had so much more fun. Looks like A's helmet weighs almost as much as she does! We were kitty sitting at mom and dad's and decided it was time to get the monsters out of the house, too bad we couldn't have picked a warmer day...like the next day when it was -10 only...stupid Alberta weather! It ws such a relaxing weekend, even B said that he hound it relaxing to be out there. The kids love it, so much space to run around and they love the kitties and Grandma&Grandpa's place is perfectly set up for them with a huge back bedroom for them to use for a playroom, complete with their own tv and DVD and satellite. No they're not spoiled at all. I really hope that we will be able to move out there this summer. I am so looking forward to being somewhere that I can just kick the kids outside and let them run around and play and not have to worry about them running out into traffic or some drug crazed neighbor coming and taking them. No I do not live in a bad neighborhood nor am I that paranoid but the thoughts do cross my mind. I think the kids are really going to enjoy living in the country. Not to mention that we will only be 10 minutes fro town so they will not be STUCK in the country when they are teenagers and want to hang out with their friends. Whew....that was a lot to say!

Christmas Cheer

I am sitting here drinking a tall glass of Christmas cheer and complaining loudly(in my head) about how slow this blogger is uploading my pictures, but trying to be patient. The kids are finally in bed, not asleep mind you just in bed. I sense a long battle with the bigger monster about staying in her bed. This of course is a nightly battle and one that you would think I would be used to by now but alas no, I am equally frustrated tonight as every night. One day maybe they will both go to bed like little angels and wake up bright and cheerful and ready to behave and listen to their parents...well a girl can dream can't she? At least I can't yell too loudly what with the laryngitis and all. I know, I know enough with the sob stories...but they seem to be the only stories I know.
Colin's new hat. It is a Lightning McQueen hat (or keem as he is known around here) and the only hat that the kid will keep on his head.

The Cutest Boy in the World!

Seriously...the cutest...in the world, maybe even the universe! Even with the scrapes on his cheek

Getting ready for Christmas

Amy is putting the "fairy" on top of the tree. Not an angel, but a fairy. That's my girl!
If you can believe it they didn't even fight the whole time we decorated the tree...I am sure that they were not really my children.

Where did this little boy come from...I could have sworn I only had a baby a minute ago.

Babies!

two new beautiful babies. We were so excited to be able to meet you both during our visit. Thankyou for letting auntie take some photos...like you could have stopped me! I sure can't wait to have more snuggles.

Watching a movie

C and N hanging out at L's house. Our monsters had so much fun playing together. A talked about N the WHOLE (eternal) drive home. Too bad the visit had to be cut short due to lack of a place to stay. Perhaps we will try a little better planning next time!

Mom & Dad's

The Homestead! Okay the "new" homestead.

Down on the farm

Ah aren't they cute! Mom and Dad are sure happy out on their new acreage. Good thing I made them Buy it!
This is Jack and Angel.
They are Mon and Dad's kitties. They are a pair of barn kittens that they are hoping will keep the mice population down on the acreage. they are living in the house for now while it is so wintery out but may move out in the summer. Meanwhile mom and dad are turning into cat people. Maybe because they are so darn cute!(the cats that is) We still don't know if they are actually boys or girls so they may be Jackie and Angelo for all we know. The kids sure like them and Miss A was the first one they let feed them a treat. Now they are so used to the kids they will let them pick them up already.

He's a big boy now

Well it's official...He's a big boy now. Colin is potty training, and doing VERY well. No accidents in 2 days already. He hates to have a wet bum so much now that at nap/bed time he wakes up to go pee...so we had to set up his big boy bed too so he could go to the potty by himself. 'sniff' they grow up so fast

Witchy

Halloween at our house was very fun. The big monster dressed up as a witch...a purple witch. Very appropriate. Anyone that knows her knows howv much she LOVES pink...and purple. The little monster was a gorilla...a very tiny but very noisy gorilla. We went trick-r-treatin' at the mall and since nobody had a nap we wound up out at G&G's house avoiding the other trick-r-treaters (since we had no candy).
