Puppies
Auntie and Uncle have two new puppies. C was instantly in love with them. He tried to run around with them but they were just too little and too cold to play for long. Seeing him run around with them makes me want to get a puppy for him. Allergies...Bah! all that matters is my children's happiness...yeah right! Good thing G and G are going to get a puppy to keep the kitties company. We'll never be able to get the kids to come home from their house.
Skating at Bill's
This was A's first time on skates. She could barely stand up on them. Auntie D had to help her stay on her feet (thanks auntie) C did not have skates as his feet were too big for his bob skates. We could not find another pair of skates for A so C could wear her skates. They both sure had a good time playing on the ice and around the little fire that uncle B built. We even found a pink hockey stick for A. So appropriate for her. Doesn't get much more Canadian than that.

What a Haul!
Spoiled...Yes indeed!
This is a photo of A and C riding on their new monster sized quad. B surprised all of us this year. A has already had a wild time driving her quad around grandma's driveway. Laughing her head off and telling her dad to go faster...faster...! My little speed demon. C liked the baby quad he got from other Gramma that he can cruise around the house. Oh the trouble we will be in when they get bigger. I see many broken limbs in my future.

No trip to Turkey
B came home last night from shopping for the last of his Christmas gifts and we got to talking and it looks like I won't be going to Turkey. No seriously... he actually looked into sending me all the way across the world to go visit my friend. What a guy. I miss you K. Guess we'll have to figure something else out. Maybe we will meet in England when my bro' finally decides to get married. He and his girlfriend are going to be married there cause that is where her family is from. Apparently there is a castle over in her family's town that she wants to be married in... Imagine that, a castle in England!
Boys!

Angel in the tub
At least someone enjoys winter
A and her daddy cruisin' on the snowmobile. They had sooo much fun. All C wanted to do was drive the quad tho'. Too bad it was -30 that day, I am sure we all would have had so much more fun. Looks like A's helmet weighs almost as much as she does! We were kitty sitting at mom and dad's and decided it was time to get the monsters out of the house, too bad we couldn't have picked a warmer day...like the next day when it was -10 only...stupid Alberta weather! It ws such a relaxing weekend, even B said that he hound it relaxing to be out there. The kids love it, so much space to run around and they love the kitties and Grandma&Grandpa's place is perfectly set up for them with a huge back bedroom for them to use for a playroom, complete with their own tv and DVD and satellite. No they're not spoiled at all. I really hope that we will be able to move out there this summer. I am so looking forward to being somewhere that I can just kick the kids outside and let them run around and play and not have to worry about them running out into traffic or some drug crazed neighbor coming and taking them. No I do not live in a bad neighborhood nor am I that paranoid but the thoughts do cross my mind. I think the kids are really going to enjoy living in the country. Not to mention that we will only be 10 minutes fro town so they will not be STUCK in the country when they are teenagers and want to hang out with their friends. Whew....that was a lot to say!

Christmas Cheer
I am sitting here drinking a tall glass of Christmas cheer and complaining loudly(in my head) about how slow this blogger is uploading my pictures, but trying to be patient. The kids are finally in bed, not asleep mind you just in bed. I sense a long battle with the bigger monster about staying in her bed. This of course is a nightly battle and one that you would think I would be used to by now but alas no, I am equally frustrated tonight as every night. One day maybe they will both go to bed like little angels and wake up bright and cheerful and ready to behave and listen to their parents...well a girl can dream can't she? At least I can't yell too loudly what with the laryngitis and all. I know, I know enough with the sob stories...but they seem to be the only stories I know.
